PRO SPORTS SHOULDN’T JUST BE FOR PRO ATHLETES.

Open Run is an experiential competitive ecosystem that was created to answer the question: “How can gaming and eSports be used to connect or reconnect people to a high-level, legitimate competitive experience?”

As regular people, many of us lost the chance to be a part of legitimate competition after high school ended, but as fans of the game, we all dream of being in the intense atmospheres, getting the media attention, and having our greatest moments immortalized and remembered forever.

Open Run allows anyone to be a part of this unique experience by creating and utilizing memories from perhaps the most accessible form of competition used
today: gaming.

COMPETE!

Open Run: Melee, is a open to all, free entry, 16 person double elimination tournament.

The event will use design to curate an intense competitive atmosphere where you can truly feel the weight of the moment and create some legendary moments — not your average local LAN.

This allows you to be put in the same context as the pros, and make your debut (or return) to competitive sports. You are the star!

COMING SOON!

YOUR PLAY = THEIR PLAY

The Open Run Instagram covers major pro sports, and YOU. The things you do are just as cool as the things they do. By covering both, you are put on the same pedestal as some of the best athletes in the world.

Through user submission, design is able to be used to create legitimate “post-game stat graphics.” Further contextualizing your greatest moments and showing how they are a part of something greater.

So even when you are gaming on your own, the intensity stays. The chase for glorious moments to be able to be recognized alongside the big names.

CAPTURE YOUR LEGACY!

Open Run trading cards put you in the spotlight and reflect the culmination of your ability. Design is used here to create a physical artifact that captures who you were at a certain point.

Being able to capture these stats and quantifications is a part of how we build up legacies for our favorite athletes, but you can be looked at in that same lens.
